Digital Competence for Educators - DigCompEdu is the framework for teachers, educators and trainers identified within the European framework of digital skills of DigComp 2.2 citizens. It is the result of action 9 of the European Commission’s 2021-2027 Digital Education Action Plan, which introduced it with the acronym EDSC (European Digital Skills Certificate) and the EDSC DigCompEdu certification scheme is being accredited by Accredia. At the national level, it responds to the update of the PNSD and the resources allocated by the PNRR for the training of all school staff according to the DigCompEdu framework, with the aim of aligning the Italian school system with European training models through a systemic digital transition approach.
The DigComp 2.2 profile is based on the European framework for digital skills of DigComp 2.2 citizens.

The Test Centers are not simple exam venues, but real reference points for the training and certification of digital skills according to the DigComp 2.2 and DigCompEdu frameworks, and sustainability skills, in line with the objectives of the 2030 Agenda.
Becoming a Test Center means acquiring an active role in the dissemination of digital and environmental culture in the territory, allowing school staff, students, and more generally to each citizen, to increase their skills and obtain an internationally recognized certification.
Our goal is to support schools, businesses and public and private bodies in the implementation of the new frameworks and objectives established by the European Union, offering a real opportunity for training and professional growth, and contributing significantly to the country’s digital and energy transition process.
